Caitlin B. Cherkin represents clients in all areas of family law, including custody, divorce, support, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, enforcement and modification of agreements, same sex rights, domestic violence, paternity and adoption.

Caitlin earned her Juris Doctorate from Temple University Beasley School of Law. Exploring her interest in family law, Caitlin worked as a law clerk for a reputable family law firm during her third year of law school. It was at this time she realized her passion for helping families through legal disputes.

During law school, Caitlin served as the Family Law Society President and co-founded an organization aimed at connecting law students with practicing professionals in the Philadelphia area. Caitlin also worked as a Student Mediator for Temple Law’s Domestic Relations Mediation Clinical, where she mediated custody agreements in Philadelphia Family Court.

Caitlin earned her B.A. from Pennsylvania State University at University Park in Communications Arts & Sciences. During her time at Penn State, she was active in the Penn State Dance Marathon and the University Park Undergraduate Association’s Legal Affairs Organization.

Before beginning her legal career, Caitlin worked for a prestigious Philadelphia law firm as a Marketing Assistant.
